LinkedIn search API: Sales Navigator to campaign

Swarmhit's LinkedIn search API imports the results of a classic LinkedIn or Sales Navigator people search through a sender you connected, with one POST to /lead-imports. Send the search URL you copied, or structured filters, and choose where leads land: a new list, an existing one, or a campaign that enrolls them page by page. Imports run through your own accounts, within daily caps Swarmhit enforces.

How the LinkedIn search API works

  • Provide either url, a classic or Sales Navigator search URL, or params, a structured filter with api (classic or sales_navigator) and category people. The call returns at once and a worker picks the job up within a minute.
  • Leads land in listId, in a list created for the import, or with campaignId in that campaign's own list, enrolled page by page under the campaign's exclusion rules. maxLeads caps the import between 1 and 2,500, 100 by default.
  • Follow progress with GET /lead-imports/{id}, cancel or resume it, and subscribe to lead.imported events.

Inside campaigns

One POST /campaigns sets up a whole sequence, and the engine schedules each step per sender and mailbox, inside the sending window, with rotation across senders.

  • Importing straight into a campaign is the shortest path from a saved search to outreach: leads enroll as pages are imported, and the sequence starts for each one under the campaign's schedule and sender pool.

Limits and safety

  • Scraping only happens through LinkedIn accounts your users own and connect, capped by Swarmhit at 2,500 profiles a day from Sales Navigator search and 1,000 a day from standard search. There is no cookie-less scraping and no resale of the data.
  • No Sales Navigator? Search Swarmhit's database of 1B+ contacts across 60M companies, refreshed weekly, through /database/people/search.

LinkedIn senders cost $16.90 a month each for the first 50, tiered down to $6.90, with no minimum. See pricing.

LinkedIn search API, answered

Can I export Sales Navigator searches through LinkedIn's own APIs?

There is no public Sales Navigator API. Official access runs through CRM sync on Sales Navigator Advanced Plus and the Sales Navigator Application Platform (SNAP), which is not open to new partners, and neither exports searches. Swarmhit imports Sales Navigator searches through accounts your users connect themselves, and also offers a database of 1B+ contacts, sourced through third-party data providers and paid with workspace credits, for teams without a Sales Navigator seat.

How many leads can one LinkedIn search import return?

Each import stores up to 2,500 leads, 100 by default, set with maxLeads. Across imports, Swarmhit caps extraction at 2,500 profiles a day per account from Sales Navigator search and 1,000 a day from standard search.

Can I import a search straight into a running campaign?

Yes. Pass campaignId and the leads land in that campaign's list and enroll page by page, subject to the campaign's exclusion rules, so outreach starts while the import is still running.
